2005. i still havent accepted reality, the last few days have been like a documentary on the earths most influencial. some kind of 1970s rock love film you would watch and utter how much you'd love to live in it.

the first performance i witnessed was buck 65, what a performer, i can't believe i had the chance to see this fool spit on the main stage and scratched like DJ shadow wasn't a few stages away. damn. let me just break it down: the raveonettes, ambulance LTD, M83, the kills, UNKLE, MF doom, caf'e tacuba, sage francis, weezer, coldplay, bloc party, and the chemical brothers all made me sweat the first day. sweet mother.. i never danced and power-moved so much unlike with UNKLE. how epic.

second day i was eased and rubbed down with: zion I, subtle, sixtoo, kasabian, the bravery (which..sucked), miss kitten, the arcade fire, aesop rock, new order, nine inch nails, and fucking BLACK STAR. aslkjdflaksbc k.

mos def and talib kweli came out with common. what the fuck. my pants were yellow from urine. it was a fucking riot.

"When it was apparent that the night was supposed to be over, Mos Def wanted to keep the party going. No he didn’t turn water into wine, but he kept begging for one more song; Black Star was copping the spot and he knew it. In fact we all knew it, and it was fun to watch. After they finally cut the music off Mos wasn’t done, he ran away from security, jumped off of the stage and ran along the railing showing the love and gratitude to the fans that had paid it to him for the last hour. Yeah, we were all tired and burnt out, but Black Star let us leave on a positive high note, and in this negative world, there was, if only for a brief minute, a moment of love and positivity." -alex roman

but the one thing i can't get over.. doseone. near the end of subtles set, doseone hangs off the stage and extends his heart to me "i love you, i love you" with his electronic sexed voice. fuck. fuck. doeseone confessed his love to me. i can proudly say i have loved dose since 2001.

ok. i'm going to have a heart attack if i continue. i miss coachella, i miss last years coachella. i can't wait for the next.

terms of liability

i tried to combine what was sane. sexual intercourse in my palms.
giving birth to the mic. i repeat phrases so i can get faces of suspense. i relay on human energy for my common sense. droping my quarters on the street. only wanting that bum to look down on me.
i scream...pleace lord help me please...revise the time, contribute to what was and used to be mine. heal my left overs, cause i'm castin over-to your supernova of gifted.
i closed my eyes as i got closer to what i thought was real. pealing the wrapper off my ears. pretending not to see through your skin. beginning, engaging into the realism of thought...
i bought your books. i sold them underprice so i can buy that cheap recorder that i can make my music on.
inspired by non you. only accepting idle cues.

rebirth to new minds. expansion recorded over tough times.

my vision dry. i realized your credited for making me want to get by... i still haven't drank your ink
